an in-ear headphone is all you need. it save your ears from noise, whether it's the engine, the roadshow or a few non-sense conversations. alternatively, you can join their discussions and keep talking all the time such that they are not able to speak a word until you get off the bus or train or what-so-ever. may be you'd earn a new friend by doing that.
staring at them is, honestly, no use at all. i think they like to get attention, be a star. may be you can hand them a flyer from church. so that you can either get a chance to bring them back or freak them out of the vehicles.

this is really a BAD situation, these people won't even care of how you are being annoyed...and nothing can do... solution: wear earphone
有时候我会"怒bare"..但是都是没用的...
所以最好都是带备MP3或IPOD....

會不會是在說話的時候空間很小,自己被迫地聽了進去?
前兩天在巴士裡遇到同樣情況, 對方聊得起勁,還提及一些商業機密, 當時真的在想是不是要報警......
(看完筆者的文章,聯想如下,可能不太關聯,見諒)
如果保留私隱在沒有價值下可以隨意轉讓,可能城市里的很多人都是因爲孤獨而需要偷偷的跟陌生人分享。
想象高聲談話的人好像在他的口袋放著一大堆零錢,因爲私隱的壓力,或者生活的壓力把那沉重的口袋快要下墜的壓力釋放出來。
因此,不被邀請的聲音粗魯的越過你的界線,衝破了你極力維護的範圍。如此野蠻的動作,在沒有辦法防備下原來行動起來挺“優雅”,在於侵略者與被害者之間原來沒有一線相隔,不論是一個空間里/車廂内/座椅上,每個人都有極大的自由,隨意進行無形的偷襲。
攻擊者不會理會或等待任何人的防備,已經可以留下傷痕,那種快要“爆”的情緒,恨不得馬上咆哮的欲望,可能需要一天一夜,放著柔和的音樂,才可以慢慢平復,沒有私隱的空間,怎樣逃?
如果在每一個區內都放置一些好像電話亭之類的裝置,裡面放著一個headphone,付了錢後,可選一些平靜的大自然聲音,或像new age之類的音樂,總之是可以讓人可享受片刻寧靜的地方,那就好了...
